Dr. Daniel Jinho Ha
MD

Dr. Daniel Jinho Ha is a board-certified psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has a particular interest in treatment-resistant mood disorders, complex trauma/PTSD. He earned his M.D. from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee, where he was honored with the "Resident as Educator" award. In addition to his traditional medical training, Dr. Ha has completed advanced fellowship training through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy program allowing him to combine conventional evidence-based medicine with a holistic lens—addressing the biological, psychological, and lifestyle factors that impact mental wellness.

A native Texan, Dr. Ha returned to the Austin area with his wife, an OBGYN. When he isn't in the clinic, he enjoys tending to his garden, discovering the best of Austin's local food scene, or cheering on his Aggies.


Kristen Starzynski

Kristen Starzynski is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who is committed to helping individuals regain control of their lives. She received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, and she has been practicing in the Austin community since 2017. She has a strong background in inpatient psychiatry and is experienced in stabilizing complex mental health crises as well as managing conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, thought disorders, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders. Kristen believes that mental health care should be collaborative and personalized. She takes time to listen, understand each client's unique experience, and develop treatment plans that align with their goals. Her approach emphasizes both medication management and overall well-being by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard and empowered.


Taylor Preddy

She is dedicated to creating a judgement free, down-to-earth environment, where patients can feel safe to be authentically themselves and work through their struggles in a patient-centered therapeutic alliance. Taylor is LGBTQI affirming and is familiar with working with athletes and healthcare professionals. She believes in tailoring mental health care specifically to each individual and their unique needs. Taylor is currently accepting new patients 16 and up.


Ingrid Mason

Ingrid is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and earned her MSN from UT Austin where she developed a strong foundation as a clinical expert with a focus on person-centered care. Ingrid sees patients 14 and up and specializes in treating a range of mental health conditions including ADHD, mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders. She is especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and strives to create a safe and affirming space for all.

Before becoming a nurse, Ingrid was a piano teacher - a role that honed her deep listening skills, creativity and patience, which she now brings her clinical practice. Outside of work Ingrid enjoys live music and spending time with family, friends and her two dogs, Penny and Sticky.

Linda is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with roots in the Austin community since 1997.  She has been actively practicing as a RN for over 30 years bringing an abundance of experience in healthcare and collaboration w/ individuals from diverse backgrounds.  She completed her MSN at University of Texas Austin in 2019 and began her private practice.   Linda approaches patient care with a strong belief in Carl Rogers' person-centered therapy, embracing the ideal of unconditional positive regard, and building alliances through collaboration w/ patients and incorporation of their goals as the foundation of treatment planning. She welcomes all clients from all backgrounds and philosophies, ages 12 to 65.  Linda enjoys spending her personal time w/ her family, traveling, skiing, socializing with friends and finding antiques, which, like us, carry our own unique story.

Mirella Huie

Prior to joining Balcones Psychiatry, Mirella has experience with individuals of all ages in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as respite care.


Sarah Matthews

She sees patients aged 6 and older, with both in-person and telehealth video appointments available.

Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. As a Christian, Indian-American woman, mother, and LGBTQIA+ affirming provider, Sana brings a deeply inclusive perspective to her work. Each patient's identity, background, and unique needs are understood and respected from the start.

Sana holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent over five years as a Licensed Professional Counselor working with diverse populations. That counseling background deepens her whole-person approach to psychiatric care in Austin.

She has a particular focus on depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders, and is committed to building therapeutic relationships that honor each patient's identity and worldview.

Outside the clinic, Sana is an author and wellness educator passionate about destigmatizing mental health. In her free time, she explores Austin's walking trails with her family, reads, and catches up on The Great British Bake Off.

Sana currently sees individuals aged 6 and older, providing convenient and flexible care through both in-person and telehealth video appointments.


Zack Lazar

Dr. Hashem Dadoush

Dr. Dadoush graduated from Damascus Medical School in 1989. After working as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School, he completed a Masters in Public Health at Boston University and then started his postgraduate medical training in 1992 at Yale University. Dr. Dadoush returned to Damascus in 1999 after receiving his certification in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Dadoush returned to Texas in 2011 and worked as director of the ED at Knapp Medical Center. He moved to Austin in 2014 and developed an interest in substance use. He decided to pursue addiction medicine full-time in 2016. He is board certification in Addiction Medicine since 2021.

Lindsey Warren Davis

Lindsey is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than four decades of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She earned both her undergraduate nursing degree and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Her career began in 1982 in residential and acute care psychiatric facilities, where she provided direct care in addition to leadership roles as Program Manager and Director of Nursing. Later, Lindsey became the lead mental health provider at Dell Children’s Comprehensive Care Clinic, guiding a multidisciplinary team in delivering outpatient psychiatric services. She has worked with Integral Care’s Child and Family Services as well as LifeWorks in Austin, supporting children, teens, and transition-aged youth.

Since 2020, Lindsey has dedicated her work to private practice, where she treats patients of all ages. From 2021 to 2024, she partnered with Austin Child Guidance Center to expand access to psychiatric services for children and families.

Lindsey’s approach is collaborative and holistic. She values working closely with patients and families to create personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, nutrition and supplements, physical health, spiritual well-being, and behavioral strategies. Her goal is to empower individuals to achieve lasting mental health and resilience.


Jaime Nelson Denson

Jaime Nelson Denson is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has been practicing in the Austin community since 2011.  She founded Balcones Psychiatry and Mental Health in 2020. She has experience in a variety of settings including treating patients in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, group homes and outpatient private practice.  In addition to her clinical practice, Jaime was a Clinical Instructor in Nursing at The University of Texas School of Nursing from 2013 to 2017. She has been active in local and state professional organizations. She enjoys spending time with her loving family, three dogs and three cats. Jaime is currently only taking new patients in Colorado.
